The current government restrictions is obviously stopping customers coming to site. The health of our staff and customers needs to be assured before we can re-open for sessions.
But are working away in our new cabin which houses our new Airbus simulator. This is located next to our existing Boeing 737-800 unit in Walkinshaw Road. There is some external work still pending but internally is ready to go.
Meanwhile we will continue testing on our new Airbus simulator! By working with the professionals from Airliner1 this is proving to be reasonably straight forward. We would like to thank Steve and his team for their ongoing support. They already have these systems operating in commercial training schools in the UK and America.
Our own system is configured as a training suite although we have no plans to certify if for commercial training. However, the components are top quality and we expect similar use to our Boeing simulator.
The Airbus is a favorite of British Airways and Easyjet; we usually have some parked outside to help with the realism!
We ran promotions when we introduced our 737 simulator to help get some real life feedback to iron out any issues. This provides valuable feedback and highlights areas which could be improved upon.
The Covid lockdown is giving us more time to test and modify procedures. However, we are keen to repeat this process with customers which will help verify our operating procedures.
It is also an excuse to release some special offers for our customers. We will be promoting these exclusively through Experience Gift Scotland.
Keep an eye out for further information.
